M. Rene Fournier received her MFA in 2018 from Vermont College of Fine Arts in the Writing for Children and Young Adults program. While she attended VCFA, she was the winner of the Norma Fox Mazer award for her manuscript titled Windrunner. Like her novels, M. Rene enjoys challenging both sides of her brain creatively and technically. She was a network engineer and a teacher. She lives in Vermont, and loves being outside with her children and horses.
